Easter

Well. My Easter pictures didn't work out how I imagined.  We were late and rushed, the kids still had wet hair from late baths, and I attempted to shoot in camera modes other than auto while in a rush.  Oh well. You can kind of see their outfits, and you can definitely tell they were clean for Easter Sunday.

Here is the only photo that was not blurry of all three children.  We had to subdue Lucy with an ice breakers container. Which she is looking at, while ignoring the camera.

Jim's parents joined us for Easter dinner. Jack climbed all over Jim's dad like he was a jungle gym.
 It was pretty cute.

No pictures of myself, Jim, or his mom.  Maybe next time?

Editing

Tonight in my photography class we are editing photos from the weeks assignment.  I am going to post as I edit since I can't save any of the images to the lap top that is not mine.

I did not edit her eyes, but the settings I used seem to bring out the blue.

Lucy loves her siblings, she is looking at her big sister.

Jack has magic eyes. Like mine. They change with the weather. Well not really the weather, but some days they are blue, or green, or grey, or multi colored. Sometimes they have gold in the center.  Just like me.

Lucy has true blue eyes. Through and through.

Lilly girl has magic eyes with blues and greys, and the occasional green. Like her dad.

My sweet babies are all happy to pose for me, for now. I know my time is limited.

Art Contest

Lilly's art was chosen, with some of her peers, to represent the Danville Primary School downtown to "think spring" by the Danville Arts Council.

We're very proud!

Photography Class

I am taking a mini course at Bloomsburg University on photography.  This is not for credit, only for fun.  I am just learning a few new skills each week on how to shoot on modes other than auto.

Each week we have an assignment, here are some of my pictures:

Science Fair 2014

Lilly participated in the 2014 Danville Primary School science fair.  The optional science fair.  She and Jim got working on their project of "How much water can a diaper hold?"

They poured water in 4 different types of diapers until the water leaked out.

She recorded her results and made a HUGE board.

1. Huggies night diaper hold 5.75 cups.
2. Luvs diaper holds 3.75 cups.
3. Generic diaper holds 3.5 cups.
4. Swim diaper holds 1/3 cup.

All the kids had interviews with visiting "professors" (aka parent volunteers) to explain their experiment/hypothesis and answer questions.

She loved participating in the science fair.
