Day at my Alma Mater and Soccer!

Jack started soccer this year and so far he LOVES it.

All the girls LOVE Lucy and much to her dismay, they follow her around and try to pick her up.

Random summer

Lucy has so much personality that it pours out of her.  She knows what she wants and can figure out a way to communicate as much.  She can say a handful of words but mostly communicated with nods and gestures.  She loves to dance. She's a joy.

Lilly played with her guitar teacher and other guitar students at a park in August.

Jim and I tackled the hedges in the backyard, it was a major project.  One of the first yard projects I have ever initiated.

Before and After

Williams Family reunion

Every year Jim's mom has her family reunion at her mom's farm.  The Williams family reunion at Grandma B's farm! This year the reunion committee hired a face painter.  The kids LOVED it, well most of the kids.

Lilly is a witch.

Lucy stayed entertained in the sand and grass all day. Her cousin, Riley, is in the background. She just turned 2 in June.

Jack also loved the sand pile.  Lucy is trying to stick her face in the sand and eat it, that did not go well.

Tenley and Lilly as witches. Tenley is Jim's great niece. So Lilly and Tenley are related in a complicated manner. To make it easier we call them cousins.

Jack is the kid that did not like the face paint. He kept it on for about 5 minutes until he begged me to take it off.

Fun day!

Poconos and NYC

The first weekend in August we spent Saturday in the Poconos with Jim's brother and his family.

Abbey (7) and Lilly (8). Cousins and buddies.

Abbey, Lilly, and Aunt Lynn out paddle boarding.

The next day (Sunday) we went into NYC for our friends baby blessing.  We also got in some sight seeing and cookies in central park.

The Morgans are some of our oldest friends.  Jaime was born when I was 10 on my birthday.  Her older sister, Heather, has been a best friend since I was 7. We've been friends for 27 years!

New Mama Heather, me, and Lucy baby.

On the roof of the Met.

The kids loved the fake grass on the roof.

FAO Schwartz BIG piano.

Epic Lego displays.

It was a great weekend.

Summer phone update

Jack sometimes refuses to go to bed, no matter his exhaustion. We occasionally find him sleeping in odd spots.  This night he was determined to stay up and be sneaky in the hallway. Sleep won him over.

Lilly found this unique bug in our flower bed and took some pictures. We thought she may have found a new species but turns out it is a hummingbird moth.

My sister posted this gem of a photo on facebook.

We only made it to knoebels a few times this summer, but the kids loved it every time.

Lucy rode the firetrucks as her first Knoebels ride by herself just like her brother and sister.  Just like her siblings, she didn't love it but she didn't hate it either!

Summer swim team

Lilly joined the summer swim team, Danville Dolphins.  She had a great time and learned a lot.
