"Hey, Mom! Look at me!"

I had my camera out this afternoon and was inundated with requests for creative pictures.  Fine with me!!

Lucy photo shoot

I took my camera out today.  Ever since I broke it last summer, it just hasn't been the same. Nonetheless, I took some pictures of Lucy.  It's been a long time since I've done a Lucy update.
-Lilly calls her Sushi
-Jack calls her LuLu
-She is FULL of personality
-She wants to do everything everyone else is doing
-She is very independent
-She is full of love and it melts my heart when she says "Mommy"

More winter

On superbowl Sunday we were snowed in and couldn't go to our friends house.  My sweet Lilly girl jumped on the opportunity to make our own party in the basement as a surprise for her family.  She made decorations and dragged out the folding table all by herself.

Icicles...it's cold here.

Parent Observation night at gymnastics.  Lilly is in the purple leotard.

More birthday celebration for Lilly

We were able to visit my dad and went out to a restaurant of Lilly's choosing (Ted's Montana Grill). We were seated at the special table that can be closed off.

Then a cake made by Papa for Lilly

For the final installment of birthday excitement, Lilly had her ears pierced.
She brought along two friends for moral support.

Americam Girl Store

In lieu of a birthday party, Lilly opted for a breakfast party at the American Girl store in Virginia.

There was only so much doll store Jack could handle....

Winter update

Winter has brought the typical cold and illnesses.  Jack and Lucy started off the year with a bang of ear infections and parainfluenza.  It's already been a long winter!

While we've had 7 snow days already, we haven't had as much playing in the snow this year.  The weather has been too cold or freezing rain has been coming down which did not make for enjoyable snow play. They did get out one morning with some neighbor kids.

Winter is alive and well in Pennsylvania.  Lilly found some snowflakes on our window and took some great pictures of them.

Lilly started the new 2015 cheer season with Upwards.

My dearest friend, Heather, came to visit with her son Timmy. We've been friends since 1987!

Lucy and Timmy like their thumbs.
