Americam Girl Store

In lieu of a birthday party, Lilly opted for a breakfast party at the American Girl store in Virginia.

There was only so much doll store Jack could handle....

Winter update

Winter has brought the typical cold and illnesses.  Jack and Lucy started off the year with a bang of ear infections and parainfluenza.  It's already been a long winter!

While we've had 7 snow days already, we haven't had as much playing in the snow this year.  The weather has been too cold or freezing rain has been coming down which did not make for enjoyable snow play. They did get out one morning with some neighbor kids.

Winter is alive and well in Pennsylvania.  Lilly found some snowflakes on our window and took some great pictures of them.

Lilly started the new 2015 cheer season with Upwards.

My dearest friend, Heather, came to visit with her son Timmy. We've been friends since 1987!

Lucy and Timmy like their thumbs.

Lilly turns 9!!!!

Lilly had an epic birthday celebration spanning several days.

She started by waking up EARLY on her birthday to open presents.

After these pictures she opened presents and got ready for school.  On the way out the door, carrying the HOMEMADE cupcakes, I slipped on black ice - sent the cupcakes flying and landed flat on my tail bone.  I'm pretty sure the devestation of the cupcake loss was traumatizing for her.  All ended fine, I couldn't walk well that day, but my tail bone was not broken! We bought replacement cupcakes from Weis, and the birthday celebration continued.

We then traveled to Maryland to kick off more birthday celebrating. Grandma decorated with a frozen theme and got special cupcakes from the Lilly Magilly cupcakery.

Random phone update

I can't remember if I posted these, so here they are (again or not) in all their phone glory.

Corning Museum of Glass

We went to the Corning Museum of Glass with Jim's sister, her husband and daughter.

All the kids and Aunt Rebecca blew their own glass.
