I don't know why but the end of preschool is rather heart wrenching for me. Here is Lilly last September on the first day of school.
Here is Lilly again on the last day of preschool.
This year in preschool Lilly learned to recite the pledge, spell her name, read a few words, recognize all the letters, count to 20, memorized countless songs, and had a wonderful time. If she ever had to miss a day of school she was devastated. Her preschool teachers were the models of patience and love. I am forever grateful to them both.

Preschool Graduation
Lilly's school put on a sweet and short preschool graduation tonight. They all received their certificates for participating in preschool and sang a few songs. If only all graduations were so lovely.
We left Jack at home with a babysitter so we could enjoy the dinner and presentation in peace.
Lilly had fantastic teachers and a really wonderful year at preschool. In just a few short months she will be off to kindergarten. This is major stuff here.
These kids all of a sudden seem so grown up. (It is not a fashion faux pas to show up in the same dress when you're 5, or really 31. Annie and Lilly came in the same dress and her mom Britten and I came in the same skirt.)
Rickett's Glenn
We went to Rickett's Glenn for memorial day.
It's a beautiful park with a ton of waterfalls.

Updates
We have already made several trips to Knoebels this year. Lilly gets braver with every visit. There isn't a ride she wont go on for her size.
Jack is still hesitant about rides, but doesn't cry. Success!
There was a sale at gymboree.
A really good sale.
The entire store was UNDER 12.99.
How are you supossed to resist??
