Here are the last pictures I took before my camera broke (sob). The night of Lilly's gymnastics show. This girl has no shortage of personality and sass. I do have video of the show, but right now I am tackling pictures. Video later!

Hail Storm
We had a crazy hail storm back in May. Nothing like anything of us have ever seen. A lot of our town was damaged. Everyone seems to be getting new roofs and siding. We're on a long waiting list to get our car fixed and our roof fixed. But thank goodness for insurance.
When the storm hit, it was completely unexpected and very loud. Lilly started yelling that giant balls of ice were falling from the sky. Which was a very accurate description. We were so lucky to be home and safe. None of us new the damage that was happening outside. It really was a shock.
(Just to clarify, that is my hand.)
Piano Recital
This year was to be my last year teaching piano lessons. I "retired" early from teaching piano and gave all 20+ students notice in January. By the end of the school year these were the one's that remained. They're such a good group that they convinced me to abandon my early retirement. I will have only a handful of students in the fall, which is perfect for my schedule.
It was a great recital and the theme was show tunes. So fun!
Lilly with her piano teacher, Carolee. It was her last year with Carolee since they moved. She was so great with Lilly and we both love her.

Here I am with Lilly and her two best friends Carson and Alysson. They also moved, which is quite heart breaking for all of us.
Gymnastics
It seems that every single team anything has team pictures and individual pictures. The schools here even do fall and spring pictures. Someone is always trying to take my money for pictures. For gymnastics, I just ordered the team picture and took my own pictures of Lilly.
I don't know why I have been avoiding my blog, I think it's because I feel a tremendous weight on my shoulders of back posts due. As all good procrastinators do, I avoid instead of plowing ahead.
Waaay back in the beginning of May my dad came to visit for the annual Danvile half marathon. After the race we took a super long day trip to visit Jim's grandmother (who will be 98 this summer) and then on to the priesthood restoration site somewhere in Pennsylvania along the Susquehanna river.
This year my dad ran the race solo. Proving that no matter how much time goes by, he still has more energy and speed than I will ever have.

We then went to visit Grandma B. The first picture is taken by her fire place which is original to the house which was built in- a super long time ago.
4 Generations.
Grandma B still does her gardening and still lives on her farm.
At the priesthood restoration site towards the end of a fun day.
Lilly was being silly in this last picture, lest you think her possessed.
