picture day-phone pics

My friend, who was the photorgapher at the dance studio, took my phone and took some fun pictures of the girls at dance today. I grabbed a few too.

Hip hop picture day

I'm starting to feel a little better and get some more energy during my second trimester.  I've heard of this happening to other women, it's so exciting to finally happen to me!

I pulled out my camera today to take some pictures of Lilly. I love taking pictures. It was hip hop picture day at Lilly's dance class today.  Instead of paying for more individual pictures, she agreed to let me take them. This is the costume for their spring recital,

Doesn't this outfit make you think of the 80s?? The black converse sneakers were a requirement!

Mid-March updates

Everyone who reads this blog already knows that I'm expecting a baby in August!! Due to my "advanced maternal age" I qualified for genetic testing via blood work. The results also revealed the gender. It's a boy!!! I am so thrilled and feel very lucky to have 2 girls and now 2 boys. I was very sick for the first 15 weeks, didn't get out of bed sick, but I am mercifully feeling better. Thank goodness for those boy hormones! They seem to ease my nausea.

I also had a wonderful birthday. Lunch with Jim and Lucy, prenatal massage, and fun presents. It was a great day.

Last week was Lilly's 4th grade choral concert and early spring weather!

Yesterday was the last day of cheerleading. This was a very tough season for me. I was recruited to help coach Lilly's squad months ago. Between my severe nausea and complete lack of knowledge in regards to cheerleading, gymnastics, and dance, it was a very difficult season. However- It's over and I can breathe a sigh of relief!

More blizzard pics from my phone

Blizzard of 2016

January 23, 2016 we got 14 inches of snow.  It's the most snow we have personally seen in Danville. It was so exciting for all of us! I pulled out my camera and ventured outside for a few minutes.

More phone updates

Typical winter, colds, ear infections and some not so typical events. Lucy's first successful dentist appt., Jack winning the dynamite award, and Lilly slicing her finger open and needing stitches in the ER. (Don't scroll down if pictures of stitches and bloody thumbs upset you.)

10!

Lilly turned 10 on January 23, and had a fun party the following week. Cupcake Wars! Lilly and 12 of her closest friends came and ahd cupcake decorating challenges. The girls had a blast and we all survived the party! We love our Lilly girl.
