A LOT of Disney

We had the most amazing opportunity to go to Disney World at the beginning of January. Fulfilling life time dreams for everyone.  Here are some of the pictures from the Disney Photographers.  Disney World doesn't have characters walking around anymore, everyone is a meet and greet now. You wait in lines and meet characters in elaborate rooms. It's really fun. Jack also did the jedi training at Hollywood studios.  We had cold and rainy weather, but still a magical time.

And this is just a preview of Lucy's baby ballet costume. Not related to Disney.

January 2017 updates

A few updates from January:

Side by side pictures of baby Lilly and 11 year old Lilly.

Jim and his brother John went to the inauguration and visited as many museums as they possibly could in the 48 hour visit. I was exhausted just listening to their agenda.  They ran from museum to museum and maxed out their fitness trackers on steps.

(My view from home while Jim was gone.)

They were at the front of their section and made it on TV.

Jack and I went on a date to get his hair cut. He was against it, but ended up having fun anyway.

Lilly turns 11

I started this blog for Lilly when she turned 2. Now she is 11 and it's hard to believe.  She is bursting with personality, opinions, and artistic flair. She loves all things creative. She made her own cupcakes to take to school while I napped, because she loves to bake. For her birthday, in lieu of a party, we made a trip to the King of Prussia mall outside Philadelphia.  She shopped for a solid 8 hours with her bestie, Emma, until I declared the day over.

She bought herself fake glasses, a beret, an Eiffle tower necklace, and other accessories for herself. It was fun to watch her shop and enter that tricky age or tweens. She still wants to play with dolls and she wants to have an iphone with the latest apps.

(Jack joined another family and they invited him to stay for lunch, eye roll. He took their pizza before we could stop him. Ha!)

On Lilly's birthday we surprised her with a cake made by our friend Molly and met up with some friends for dinner. Not bad for a Monday birthday! Lilly's favorite animal is the panda and her favorite colors are purple and green,
