My friend Katie posted on her blog that she didn't have the greatest Father's day and it made me feel so much better. I kind of blew father's day in my house, of course Jim swears up and down that it was fine, but he's just sweet.
I am going to attempt a re-do this Sunday complete with Rita's Italian Ice and whatever food Jim fancies that day.
Jim has saved us every single day this week from his toddler and not-very-helpful-pregnant-crazy-wife. He has fixed things, planted gardens, worked on the house and yard, and saved us all when he unlocked our bathroom door. He has put together furniture, assembled things, done serious manual labor all to the sounds of whining women coming from his new home.

Yay Jim!! Always a hero to me! Hmmm, that giant green thing looks oddly familiar . . .
Happy belated Father's Days are great too! He's a great guy and very understanding. Not sure if he gets that from Betsy or Ed. Must be Betsy. :o)
Happy Fathers day to Jim. I can tell he's a great daddy.
HA HA HA!! Lilly you are so funny, and so quick to give and take away hero status. Jim is a fabulous dad... when are you going to give me your address? Your pregnant mind keeps forgetting.
We blew it on Father's Day here as well. Namely, I had a major four hour breakdown while Ricky was gone for another night. Happy Freakin' Father's Day. I hadn't considered that I could have a redo. That's a good idea. And my husband is totally obsessed with Italian Ices as well. Maybe that'll be a good makeup thing.
We let Father's Day slide at our house, but all's fair since Mother's Day was a slide as well. = )
I can't wait to come visit your new house (or back yard...) = ) We miss you guys!!!
