It's time

In the past 30-45 days I crocheted 10 hats, 3 scarves, a headband, baby booties, flowers, and also 4 hats that I made and then undid because I didn't like how they turned out.

I am done crocheting hats for a long time.

I am hoping that this is some cosmic sign that the baby will be coming any minute because I have run out of the desire to make anything.

The baby needs to come soon so that I don't end up in jail. Don't you think there should be a law to not directly address a 9 month pregnant woman? Several helpful strangers told me that the baby isn't coming any time soon because of how I am carrying. Then a woman said "So you're due around Christmas?" she almost got a punch in the face just for thinking that I should be pregnant that much longer. The cable guy came today and asked me twice if I had satelite, he almost got a punch in the face for not listening to my answer the first time, and why would I be calling the cable guy if I had sattelite?? I don't have time to be repeating myself to strangers. When I heard myself telling Jim that I can't be held accountable for my actions I knew it was time for the baby to come.

I don't want to be mean and hateful, but I can't seem to avoid it.

We took a time out to a local preserve yesterday and Jim snapped some cute photos of Lilly, and one of me with a fake smile.

that picture of you and Lilly is priceless, even if the smile on your face is fake. I'm praying for your sanity, and the safety of the local business people.

Oh Liz! How can people say that! Your belly is all baby...no way would it be CHRISTMAS!

It is so hard waiting....when I saw the blog's title I was like "Oh no, we missed getting to visit before the baby got here" (BTW, we are actually all better now = )) Don't worry, quickly the thought went to "oh oh oh, the baby is going to be here!!!"

Hopefully it IS a good sign that the yarn gets a rest? Or did you pass your obsession to Katie who is obsessively making a collection of crowns for when the baby arrives, because It IS going to be Lilly's brother's birthday.... Don't worry, I will try to spare you the collection of crowns... = )

I'll be thinking "laborious" thoughts your way!

That's a very sweet picture of you and Lilly. It looks like she hugging her unborn brother.

Liz I love you and I love you that I am not the only person that is mean and hateful during pregnancy. I hate when people say things about a pregnancy glow will you punch them as well.

Oh I really hope the baby comes this week!! I can't believe its already here and I just wish I could be there to hold my sweet new nephew. Pregnant women should be exempt from any and all laws regarding assault... especially when the assault is preceded by questions regarding due date status. But you're so beautiful pregnant, and I love the picture of you and Lilly.

I think it's other people who ought to be forbidden from saying anything to pregnant women. Why do people suddenly become Mayor of Stupidland around preggos? I can't wait to hear all about your new baby! I hope everything goes well. Get the drugs and buy some new pj's. That's my brilliant advice. Love you!

Liz, your comments are so right on...I hope I didn't say anything to make you want to punch me in the face...but now that your bundle is already here, I know I am in the clear (breathing a big sigh of relief on that one!) Congratulations, friend. He's lovely! Very good job!
