I love fall. It is my favorite season. Pumpkins, cider, cooler weather, college football (GO PENN STATE!), sweaters, and did I mention pumpkins?
I used angora wool to make the softest pumpkin hat that any baby would love to wear.
Except my baby. He is not a fan of hats.
I have plans to make a matching hat for Lilly, I just have to figure out how to make it bigger. Maybe that will encourage Jack to wear the hat that I lovingly crafted for his tiny, cold head. I wont be the mother that is knitting a clown sweater for her 7th grader, but it is my knitting right to make my baby wear hand knitted hats.

1. That hat is awesome
2. I would typically consider it a privelege to have my head kept warm by a homemade hat, and your kids will eventually think so. I love handknit hats. I've been bugging Cary for 8 months to make me one... and now that school has started it will probably be another 8 months.
ooh, very cute! I hope you can convince him to wear it.
I heart hat hat so much! Maybe if you tell him how much chicks dig guys in pumpkin hats, he'll leave it on.
Make Johnny one too, I love pumpkins and I believe fall should last for at least 6 months... taking over summer.
Love the hat. My SIL is making Chloe a pumpkin hat for her fall photo session. I am so excited. My knitting skills are not that advanced yet. I haven't even finished the scarf I was working on!
So adorable!! I am so proud of your creativity and skills, Daughter. And can I say....I want one!
So cute!
