Knitting woes

It's 2am and i can't sleep. Jack has been awake with teething pain and I am left awake pondering my ever growing to do list while everyone else sleeps.

That left my brain to ponder my knitting woes. Like i do every fall i get the bug to knit and crochet even more than i regularly do. I once again decided that i would make everyone a hand knitted or crocheted item for Christmas. I went over board buying yarn and patterns this week and now I must say I am done.

A scarf I was working on started getting wider and wider and the christmas stocking I am making just isn't working out color wise.

Sigh.

I put my knitting away tonight and declared that I was done.

I am taking a little break from my yarn. Putting the needles down and stepping away from the yarn.

Knitting woes, way better than real life woes. So goodbye to my yarn for a few days, I hope you cooperate next week.

too much crafting can make you sick, take some vitamin c and rest a lot.

Yes, best to take a break and then come back to it when you are refreshed, renewed, energized, rested, recouped and not sleep deprived.

I am still working on the scarf I started this summer. ;) I always have big plans to do homemade Christmas gifts, but I refuse this year(mostly because I get overly stressed and don't finish them). Gift cards--for everyone on my list! Just today, I used my reward points to purchase my parents gifts. Next month Eric's parents, then it is our kids, and the cousins for the gift exchange. I am really looking to keep it simple! The only homemade items will be baked goodies for our VT/HT families, and close friends.

It is only Halloween so don't stress!!
