We had a lovely Christmas with our family and soldier on leave. Wonderful presents were exchanged, and like the majority of humanity I ate too much, spent too much, and indulged too much.
I remembered to take pictures for about 10 minutes of our 4 day long Christmas extravaganza. We spent time with the entire family at my dads house, my moms house and the Pitt house.
So many thoughtful and wonderful presents. Jewelery, make up, knitting necessities, crafting accessories, endless pampering gifts, PJs, and all things lovely were given to me for Christmas. I came away realizing that I am quite the spoiled brat. Many surprises were pulled off (see Brian's blanket made by Jessamyn?) and now we all are recovering from the sugar/present induced coma we ventured on together.
Time to cozy up with some melancholy music and my knitting needles. One more week of holiday before the world will force us to move on, think about the pounds on the scale, dollars in the bank, and the winter months ahead.

You and your knitting adventures have convinced me to take a knitting class this winter- can't wait! So glad you guys had such a busy, happy Christmas...I'll think of you while I'm picking out needles and yarn:).
That US Army blanket is sweet!
