No hair, day 2

I spent the first three years of Lilly's life telling people she was a girl.  You see, she had no hair for a really long time.  Now it looks like we are back to square 1. Mission: make sure everyone knows Lilly is a girl.

It is very distressing.  In terms of life and death, illness, and tragedy, this is clearly no big deal. In terms of normal life stuff, this is a big deal! My poor little girl chopped off her hair that took her YEARS to grow.

I put some magnetic earrings on her, and I am considering piercing her ears to really drive home the girl thing.

The earrings are really cute, I say go get her ears pierced today! She is still a beautiful little girl... the boy hair cut is very sad though.

Everything will be ok. Her hair will grow back much faster, thicker, stronger, than in the first three years.

This is a story to tell for the next forty years. Material for a book?

The earrings are adorable! And Lilly seems like the type who doesn't do things half way- she really went to town...
