Rain

It's raining and the snow is melting.

Last night the missionaries from our church showed up on my doorstep at 5:25PM.  I jokingly said "What, are you here for dinner?"  They (not joking) said "Yep."  Instead of playing it cool and pretending that I totally knew they were coming to my house for dinner I said "What?!? I was kidding."

Awkwardness ensued and I was just grateful we were all dressed and my house was in order. Even better I was already setting out the leftovers for dinner.

Some trickster signed me up to feed the missionaries without my knowing.

In the end it worked out. Everyone had dinner to eat and they tried to share a spiritual message while Jack did acrobatic tricks on the couch.

I think they (missionaries) like to see us be human...as they crave natural unscripted reaction.
Besides...I'm posative your leftovers are exponetially better than anything they can cook.

That's great. Way to go that your house was clean and you were putting out dinner already. We just got our missionaries here taken away from us. I guess we're not good enough member missionaries to deserve having them here. :( I'm really sad because I like having them over. It's a good example for my boys.

I'm impressed. I would have just called dominoes' and said... well dinner will be ready at dominoes in 10 minutes. Enjoy

I'm pretty sure I've done that the last two times I've signed up to feed them!

I am sure they loved it. I wish I could drop by your house for dinner. I wouldn't mind left overs...just good company!
