I picked the myrtle beach half to train for last October and pretty much kept it secret until the last month of training. When you go out for a 10 mile run, people start to suspect it's not just for fun anymore.
We left Pennsylvania last Wednesday with Jim, the children, and Jack's crazy rash to head south.
Jack's rash got worse before it got better. It spread to the soles of his feet and his lips, but eventually went away. I guess the doctors were right. Whatever.
Wednesday afternoon we met up with my dad in Virginia and then drove to Rocky Mount, NC to stay the night. The next morning we got on the road and headed further south to Myrtle Beach, SC. (My dad gave me the half marathon training plan and trained with me for the race.)
We went to the beach, which was incredibly foggy and humid.

Love the pictures!! Poor Jack. Darling Lilly!
Beautiful pictures!! I want more, I want more!
It might have been humid but it looked beautiful. Congratulations on the half-marathon. And Lilly will learn to love the curls - and having her picture taken.
