I was searching for fabric on Etsy when I found this beautiful Amy Butler fabric:
It was fabric love at first sight. I used the fabric to make a cover for my sewing machine.
I followed the tutorial from this blog.
I plan to make a cover for my cricut with the same fabric.
This cover is the first step to my soon to be craft space in my basement.
p.p.s. Full day kindergarten is the only option here for public schools.

wow, I'm impressed! good job, Daughter, on both the sewing machine and my brilliant grandchild.
(I meant: sewing machine cover).
I registered Sam for kindergarten too. Full day is our only option as well. :(
Very cute! I loved that line of Amy Butler fabric, you were so lucky to get some. You did an awesome job with the cover!
Love the sewing machine cover. Full day kindergarten is AWESOME. You have to pay tuition here for full day. Boooo. I'm so annoyed that I have to drive to that school four times every day. Okay, rant over.
Ciara did both 1/2 day K and full day K, and I have to say full day is DEFINITELY better! They crammed so much into the 1/2 day that she was so worn out when she got home. With the full day, they actually have time to learn and play, and socialize which is Ciara's favorite part!
Love cover! I will soon need to make one! as for kindergarten, i went to all day and i loved it! here in utah they dont have the option for all day, its from 9-1130, which I think is absolutely point less. Pretty much like going to pre school!
you've inspired me! I've been searchingfor an excuse to buy that wonderful moda home fabric I've been coveting, but I wouldn't let myself buy it because I didn't have a project! But now I do! hurray!
